It was some time ago that I bought a special stamp for the birthday party of two of my friends. Both friends where colleagues of mine at university where we studied Japanese studies. So I thought that the adorable stamp “Anya Geisha” from The Greeting Farm was absolutely perfect for this occasion!
I couldn’t wait for the stamp to arrive so that I could finally start. My copics and I were ready to start with some creative work.
Another reason why I choose this stamp is that it is relatively easy to color in. It is perfect for practicing copic coloring. So I stamped the image multiple times and went wild coloring.
All together I colored in 6 geishas and I choose the 2 best form my friends’s birthday cards. I kept the design relatively simple: I embossed the sentiment and used some polka doted ribbon as embellishment.
Since I had so much fun creating these cards, I went ahead and made 4 more cards with my remaining colored geishas. And that is how the Kimomo-Series with 6 cards came to be.
